Idaho's Heart is always seeking expertise in a variety of areas to assist with the continued development and support of our programs. We have three different organizations to help further our mission: Services and Education (501(c)3) developed to operate the projects that prevent child abuse and neglect in Idaho including the Idaho Child Abuse Prevention Coalition; the Foundation (501(c)3) developed to raise and manage funds for the projects operated by Services and Education; and Idaho's Heart, Inc. (501(c)4) developed to advocate on behalf of Idaho's children. By volunteering for one or all organizations, you will be providing assistance in the following areas: Communication planning and development. This includes development of media materials and a comprehensive communications plan to assist in building relationships with the media and streamlining our message. We are also seeking assistance with developing materials such as brochures, newsletters, and an annual report. Strategic Planning: We are aware that in order to be successful we must have a clear plan of action to insure everything we do moves us toward our goal. If you have experience in facilitating group discussions that allow all parties involved to take part in the process and develop a plan that all involved can stand behind, we could use your help! Legal Advice: As we develop programming plans we will need expertise in contract and personnel development. We are especially in need of assistance as we develop the plans for our crisis nursery. If you have a legal background or know of someone who would be interested in helping in this area please let us know. Nonprofit Development: The cornerstone of any nonprofit organization is sound organizational development. If you have experience in starting a nonprofit organization we could use assistance with policy and procedure development as well as Board development.
