Planning has begin for Children's Day 2008. Click here to see the latest details. The details about Boise's Children's Day are described below. The 2005 Celebration of Children and Families, also known as Children's Day, was held at the Discovery Center of Idaho located on Myrtle in Boise. Entertainment was provided by the Rhythm Dogs and coalition members hosted several children’s activities and craft stations in addition to the entertaining activities available at the Discovery Center. The Coalition worked hard to provide free entry into the Discovery Center that day who estimated we could entertain as many as 600 to 800 individuals. Instead, we served over 1,700 individuals making our event a resounding success because we broke a Discovery Center record! For photos of this event, click here. Other
than this single effort, there is no regular public awareness campaign regarding
services for children and families in Idaho. Due
