Idaho's Heart is currently assisting with or planning the following events:

 

Victim's Rights Week

As part of our training and technical assistance, we are providing two workshops during Victim's Rights Week at Boise State University.  Traditionally a week long learning experience for anyone interested in victim rights and interventions available, this year's event will be held during the week of April 10-14th.  Executive Director Sunny Reed will present two workshops: Child Abuse in Idaho and The Myth of the Big Bad Wolf.  For more information contact Katie Orcher at 336-0713.

 

National Association of Social Workers - Idaho Chapter Annual Conference

Offered to anyone in the helping profession, this year's conference will offer workshops about end-of-life issues and will include some macro workshops.  Executive Director, Sunny Reed, will offer two workshops at this conference in the Child Welfare track: Child Abuse in Idaho and The Myth of the Big Bad Wolf.  For more information contact Linda Vermette at 345-4060.

Shoot for the Heart

Held at Idaho Sporting Clays in Homedale Idaho, participants competed in a teamed sporting clays competition on August 21, 2005.  It was a beautiful summer day and all attendees were treated to a barbeque and big on donated hunting gear after the competition.  Watch for details about next year's event on our fundraisers page.
